Been workin alot lately and taking FULL advantage of the beautiful summer we are having. got the kids out and about and makin memories.

On the wow side I have had a few changes. To start with I have respecced my Offspec to Enhancement!!!!!! duhn duhn duhnnnnn.

I used to think enhance was a brutally eye straining rotation specific rediculous melee system to try and run in wow. I mean i’m almost correct on that fact but with jumping in and having the frustrations and friends to help me and my learning curve.. mostly the patience and DPS help from them to help pull me through some dungeons, I was able to figure it out.

In a nutshell (well to me atleast) enhancement is about keeping your cooldowns ON cooldown… theres a couple weapn swings u wanna keep rotating and a few shocks depending on fight to keep in use.

Now if you just drop these on your toolbar there seems to be like 9 different things to keep in rotation and on cooldown… when really theres 2 groups.

Shocks & Weapon swings.

I made 2 macro’s to handle my weapon swings and 1 for my shocks… its “mostly” rotation based and the odd time im in a BH or some other area i can use my abilities still that are spread about on my bars.

Now a little clarification if u check my spec is that i am enhancement PVP spec’d… been havin alot of fun with that and am full PVP gear now. Arena is going well and all is cooooool beans.

The resto set is getting some attention with a few firelands BOE’s and rep items… gettin the valor gear pushed to my resto set so its still a viable raid ready toon… without really raiding.

Coupleish months ago our raid team decided to take a break. It just never really made it back to life. People got busy, work came for some, other games for others… I still have hopes of resurrecting incendia unda but for the time being she is quietly building up her strength in the back room of the lodge waiting to strike.

CHAMSA IS GUILDLESS!!!

yup, it happened. she and my paladin alt are guildless. If you read previously you will see why i was removed from my longer standing guild and why i hopped into blood bathed and beyond.
Now BBB are good peeps. there respectful and helpful majority of the time… It just wasn’t a fit for me. Probably mostly on my part as I wasn’t really into it to make friends in that guild. I had put time and energy into making friends in previous guilds and with a few swiftly placed key strikes those friendships seem to have been cut off.

So me and my alt are guildless for the time being. Trying to avoid the ninja guild invites and other weird whispers non guilded toons have to wade through.
OH, side note… to any of you that are sending those… there is a looking for guild feature… i don’t need to be auto invited if i don’t request it to your lvl 5 “raiding” guild cause you pull my armory or do a /who zone on me… I will and have told your kind just what i think of you and your random stupid ass systems… and quite frankly im surprised no one has reported me and gotten me a ban.

If i want a guild i’ll get a guild… theres a few standing offers on the table and may lead me to choosing one of them (of whom i don’t know yet and am gratefull for the offers by the way) but for the time being…. if i get another whisper or ninja invite i’m gonna hunt your ever loving little gnome asses down and drag you through stormwind by your fecking nose.

welcome back to this little corner of the interwebs I like to rant and spread wild tales of my journey through this pixel dragon slayin good time.

last night our raid group Incendia Unda dropped al’akir and nef on the same night.

Yes this was patched but you know what.. after the late start we had with the raids and our team this release I think we did not bad for cutting 10/12 pre patch and clearing remaining after.

So im sportin a new title on top of me head. me head likey!

We finished off the rest of the night headin into firelands. Our favorite neighbor hood hunter grabbed some sort of firey crossbow from a trash drop and seemed really excited. it was weird… i was like… “its just a crossbow…” I don’t see the excitement of a crossbow… its not like i could use it or anything. 0_O

We pounded at shannox for a while. Got him down to 400K our best try. During that one we had 9 alive but the flame was beatin the hell out of us… pretty sure that spear flame spiral of pain increases of something when you bring him down past a percentage… I should probably check.

All i know is it was a PITA to try and heal through. so much pain…

Pre to that pain in my healing finger the first phases seemed like we had our shit hooked up. Small problem with the dogs pulling the faces off of some of our DPS in the first 15 seconds but we where good. It was gettin late and we where messin up on small cruddy stuff so we called it.

Next week shannox the hunter dies.

ok all you math and spreadsheet genius people out there… I know you salivate at the thought of times like these but people like myself… i think “oh crap…”

I try and balance my healing output so that i am efficient enough to keep people alive (strength of heals) and yet im still able to not go oom. I HATE.. no i DESPISE going OOM… No mana means No heals… that means a healer is basically useless…
As tight as i can balance it with my bag of tricks to recoup mana i want to keep these 2 areas equal.

Now im not sayin thats the only way to heal but as you may know by reading some of my past posts this is my healing style and so far with the healing team on our raids it works well. Im not ever really struggling to keep up and theres no large gap… by far!

Our current healing team is spaced out on majority of fights by a fraction of a percentage. This is what builds a strong team… hang on.. sidetrackin.. back to my original thoughts.

now with firelands coming out and new gear I am hearing an ever increasing voice of crit stacking. I havn’t done the math yet cause PTR’s usually hoof my right in the left testicle when i do all the work only to change something which negates all my efforts. I wait till its live and do a little math on the side.

Lets look at this. If I gear to more of a mastery/Crit process then I would have to balance health of my party members which im told makes them nervous and if by some shitty chance i get smacked and stunned then i miss the heal they die… sucks. i know…but its how it would roll.

that thought was mostly for 5 mans.

If you look at a raid environment with this idea then your seeing shaman become more of a large burst heal which would really just grow an opportunity in our healing field we sorta have already.

I wouldn’t say we are great tank healers but with the added crit and mastery we could become a viable source to now have these types of heals available. Lets not forget our utilitarianism with interrupts, totems and AOE heals with our rain still available.
I feel a little bad that I don’t have numbers for you all to read and that this is all speculation currently… but its a thought that i run through my head and wanted to share.

What do you think about the new changes coming to your healing class in firelands? Do you see your role in the healing group changing or the dynamics of your composition shifting now?

ok. i hope changes post there was a little bit not so serious…

When i built this team and started recruiting…. prior to that when i joined the guild i mentioned about raiding and team leading… i said how important it was that the raid lead has control over their teams.

heres the thing. my raid team is my raid team. if we are short players we get fills for them and treat them fair enough that they would all come back at any time if we asked them and i don’t believe there was a single night that they didn’t leave our run with an upgrade.

we don’t shard gear. we give it out. we don’t down grade the name. I have been proud of wearing this<warped welcome>  guild name while here.

Before i started this team i met with unchanged and discussed how i wanted to create it without causing problems and without stealing people. i had it open that if they wanted to come with they could. we also (change and myself) discussed how we didn’t want people jumping back n forth and that their spot was their spot and such.

when team one split and joined some of team two team one was left with very skilled players. Dunkelplex, unchanged, beltzane, gnail, metatrons, stinkbeard and bertoli
These are all very skilled experience players. I would not say you where left with anything but. team 2 started because we had alot of other raid level players who wanted to have a try at it.
we have never said we are second class. we believe we are the best as should everyone in this game.

Both groups were set up as Guild Groups.
Not separate teams doing their own things. You want to do that. You want a separate team without anyone saying anything to you. Go somewhere else & I’m sorry if that hurts your feelings. I don’t want the drama, or the underlying need to compete, or the cloud. You wanna do your own thing take Warped Welcome off of it..and go somewhere else..If your a raider I expect more from you. Don’t like it leave. Like Tali always says, it is in the end mine and Dunk’s guild and our rules. You should find another home if you don’t like it.

problem here is …
my group was not necessarily a guild group. i try and keep it majority guild for the achievements and loot from it for everyone.
we want our team to raid our days and times and not be told who can play and who can’t. also when we are allowed to play or how we are allowed to play.
I run my team with the integrity of <warped welcome> on my back and believe i have left nothing but respect with pugs, 5 mans, or raids and general trade chat.
we didn’t ask for any drama, we are not even really sure where this all stemmed from. if it was from the loot post on the “incendia unda” post on the guild forums seperated from other posts we where using the guild forums to talk and fix things and kept it in our thread seperated from others to try and keep it out of general.
is that not what you wanted us to do with the forums?

im a raid leader. have been since wrath. brought some of with me and had great times. Maybe im misinformed about the criteria of being a raider or a raid leader.
please inform me my role and the rules i need to follow to keep your blessing on my raid team.

as a raid leader of team incendia unda  i would ask any officer or guild leadership of <warped welcome> to contact me personally and leave my team alone with matters pertaining to this thread, as they are given expectations of our goals and requirements of being on the team.
that is left to raid leads. they are forced to follow my hand as a raid lead. this includes conduct and representation of and our team.

Team incendia unda rules.
Loot
mostly honor system. pass it out to those who need MS first, OS next. try not to shard it.
BOE’s
if no one needs for MS, then OS it is up for sale to raid team at a very cut rate of market price for an alt.
**if a pug is in they will roll against remaining raid team. If they roll higher than all they will get it. if the team wins it we sell it and split gold from proceeds with team attendance.
raid times
raid times are set well in advance. if confirmed to make it be sure u are there 5 to 10 mins prior to start fooded, flasked and ready.

General
If your performance is under what is reasonably desired from your exp. and gear level you may be requested to change or informed of some help to possibly alleviate the problems experiencing.
If your asked to leave it will be a thought out decision and you will be informed why your asked to leave and given any further help or loot to get you there that is available.

We all are in this guild because we like it and are playing and doing what we want to play. we like helping and like doing fun stuff with guild. we like being asked to help and being there for the guild.

In closing, if any of our raid team is removed from guild or requested to be removed pertaining to any of the raid activities or discussions revolved around raiding I will be severly ashamed of this guild and its morales set forward by its leaders.

first time makin video’s…

Cho’gall kill and guild/team achievement!

quality blows… but i couldn’t find anywhere good to post my avi.. it was like 800mbs… any good ideas?

we are now 9 of 12 and movin on.

We continued a monday night unscheduled run to try and put a couple swings at him. After our first try at 16% we knew we could do it.
Pull up the socks and run back in buff flask and fire it up. A great plan by sinjini our co raid lead and push him over the edge. lost a few in phase 2 but had enough to kill the multi eyeballed wonder of a slug cho’gall.

This kill opened up the guild achievement {Guild Glory of the Cataclysm Raider} and brought forward the pheonix mount for guild!

Now to up my rep back to guild exalted to ride that baby!

Just so you all know… Bloodbathed original raid team was putting trys on cho’gall the same night and same time… we dinged the achieve and got a message from another raider on the other team.

“MAN! we thought we killed him 5 seconds into phase 2… but it was u guys”

Yup, sorry bud. we did. that would of been super confusing! lol.

In the end both teams dropped cho’gall within about 10 mins. I don’t think loot was even given out before the other team dropped him as well.

Big congratulations to both teams for all the hard work! Way to go all!

There is also video of the fight and kill and achievement ding but its still in edit. will post an update as soon as its ready.

Big thanks to <Bloodbathed and Beyond> of the us-whisperwind server for taking our raid team in with open arms and allowing us to push this content with them.

Some have secret guilds that no one knows who they are, some pile every toon they own into that guild cause they just can’t get enough…

some guilds are big and some have a little fat around the edges, some are small and consist of like minded or real life friends perhaps.
Theres the family guilds and the all are welcome guilds…. the levelling guilds and the raiding guilds. Heck, theres even some that are class specific. (you crazy hunters…)

Guilds tend to put up their own rules. these could be as simple as no stealing from the guild bank to as complex as attendance requirements and ‘X’ number of gold or items donated to the guild.
No matter what the rules are you should follow them if you want to stay in this guild for whatever reason you might have. If you don’t it could very well lead to your expulsion from your loving guild.

Why wouldn’t people follow the rules? I don’t really know. it boggles my mind how some people can’t keep on track with some of the most simple regular life rules.. but they don’t… and they get kicked.

now you have a guild that if you follow the rules.. they can get changed. or possibly….hang on… this just in…

while writing this post that was going to be focused on how guilds can be an affect on activities and their roll with your character we have had some activities that have lead to a different focus for this post…. read on…

so heres the deal. My guild <warped welcome> kicks me from the guild… wanna know why?  cause i had the guild leader on ignore. I don’t care what people think, you can swear and yell and call names… what pisses people off the most is when they are ignored.

ready for a story ladies and gentlemen…. sit back cause here it comes.

my old guild of 900+ had a single 10 man team… and like 20+ people who wanted to raid… what did i do? started a second ten man is what i did. I was very careful not to “steal” team members that where already running with the first team… but seeing how 18 would sign up and 10 would go it was tough to see who was just on this team to start with.

What i did was post a thread on the forums with a team name and hours and rules for this team to follow. Asking all skilled toons who want to raid with me post with their credentials and I would build a team to run steady 10 man content with.
Good idea? I thought so.

Guild officers where ok with this and thought it was a good idea cause then if they wanted to leave they could and join this team. We both also agreed  that if they where on one team they would stay there and not hop to and from. Awesome.

This left the previous team 1 with 7 skilled and experienced raiders. We where short 3 or 4 on our team and spent the next 3 weeks filling, replacing, and fitting the remainder which we have only lost 1 person i believe since.
Our team (incendia unda) is now one shotting magmaw, omni, maloriak, atramedes, chimaeron, halfus, double dragons, council and close on chogall… not bad eh. We think so.

Now leads to the headache.
Im not exactly sure how it started but ask the officers who where involved with this and they have a few fallback problems with people of my team that they like to use. My favorite being that there was a “power struggle” like warcraft can have a overthrow of power over a guild. a coo we could say… which would be an awesome idea… lol.

or the other good excuse to start all this garbage…

“they invited someone and upped their rank to raider the same day”

What what! you don’t say! how horrible! wanna know something… maybe you shouldn’t give free reign on invite and promotion status then my friend….
Wanna know something else? this person was on my raid team… for bout 3 weeks, finally got him to jump guilds. Keep in mind this person had another toon in guild for almost 2 weeks also that he was seeing how the guild was. Keep in mind also i had requested this person be ranked raider so that he could have access to some 30G repair a night. big’ol perk eh.

wanna know my thoughts? i think someone wasn’t on a raid team that was making the progress they thought should be happening, which is sad because the group that they have has some really talented players that i’ve raided with and would raid again on any request.

now for the past couple weeks the forums have filled with posts from this officer in regards to “what warped welcome raiding is about” which i have full copies of… even though all 3 posts where removed conveniently when i made replies to them.

these posts boiled down to complainfest and i ended the last one with

1. leave my team alone and speak with me if theres problems.
2. If my raiders that are on my team are removed from guild due to this arguement I would be sorely dissapointed by the leadership of this guild
3. a full list of our team raid rules and ideals set forth for any pugs that where brought with us. (there was also complaints that we mis treated pugs and didn’t give them gear… ya.. sure. go ask our pugs… they ask every week to come back.)
4. a request to let us know “just how we should run our raid team” so no further problems should arise…

so heres how the final night rolled out:

-officer is on ignore.
-i get a whisper stating “so this is how it is. you’ve made up your mind…” from another officer.
-i whisper back “made up what mind? i’m just not argueing about this”
Chamsa was removed from guild.
WHAT! I totally got kicked cause i had an officer on ignore. wow. that was brutal. ya know what happens next?
-i message the other officer a WTH was that for? R U serious? message.
-i get the reply of “this is her guild, guess she can do what ever the fuck she wants.”
-the remainder of my raid team left in guild is bout as shocked as I am and gquits.

Why would you kick a raid leader in your guild who gives over materials or time or help to your entire guild and has for almost a year. Someone you have promoted to an officer who has had no falling out with anyone. Someone who has not been reprimanded for any actions but praised for spending the time helping or defending other officers and the guild name in the sea of trade chat garbage.

…moving on.

You know that dude that hopped guilds to raid with us… he’s an officer in another guild on server. lvl 25 raiding guild. not as family friendly chatty group as im told but whatever. beats having random guild invites spammed on me. so they just inherited 10 raiders on a raid team. boohyah.

Really I just want somewhere to play a game i pay for and not get hastled for childish garbage… is that really alot to ask for? maybe sometimes.

So next day in private messages i get another one from  that officer.
“seems pretty convenient you all where jumping into a guild 5 seconds later…”
“guess you all got what you wanted in the end anyways”

go check out the feed and the messages sent get removed again making everything look like it never happened.

all thats left is “All we asked for was to chance to talk. You had made ur mind up. Its all good” what mind did i exactly make up? my mind to not talk to you? so anyone who puts you on ignore gets kicked from a guild of 900 people?

Im still workin on what this mind i made up said, did or was a part of that got me kicked from this guild.

Bon voyage <warped welcome> Like i’ve said for a while now. I love the guild for the people…. not the leadership.

Now that your all caught up… Last night was our first raid as a team.
It went. Well… It went.
Magmaw dropped. Few tries on omni and then a few on the conclave.
Why did we not do so well? Well… We had some lag issues… Our tank kept spiking. Couldn’t pick up ads and was standing still in fire for a few tries… NeedleSs to say I had a flood of whispers come in questionning my choice of tanks.
There’s apparently a fix to the lag coming so we will see how that turns out. I’m hoping it does but I’m thinkin it won’t.
How would u tell a good guildie he is off a team? Should it be easy? It doesn’t feel easy…

New tanks next week anyways. If we do really well then it answers the problem.
